Xavier Rowntree is a Founding Partner and Chief of Staff at Asteri Asset Management.
Xavier began his career in finance as a Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs in Boston. In 2009 he moved to the Goldman Sachs JBWere Sydney office, and held roles as the Executive Manager to the CEO at both JBWere and MLC & NAB Wealth.
Xavier studied economics at The University of St Andrews (St Andrews, Scotland), graduated from Bowdoin College (Maine, USA) with an undergraduate (AB) degree in economics and philosophy, and earned an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College (New Hampshire, USA).
In addition to his work in the financial services sector, prior to Asteri Asset Management Xavier also worked in business development for a Boston-based mobile technology start-up, ran business planning for a Zimbabwe Premier League soccer club, and consulted for the Carbon Disclosure Project in London.
