Joel Regan

Prior to joining Asteri in 2020, Joel worked at both independent and institutional private wealth management firms across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, and Sydney. During this time, he also served on the specialist adviser panel for the Cancer Council Pro Bono Program, providing advice and support to individuals and their families affected by cancer who otherwise wouldn’t have the financial resources to seek quality advice.

Joel believes in providing a holistic approach to wealth management for his clients. This includes both strategic advice around pre-and-post-retirement planning, tax and asset structuring utilising investment companies, trusts, and self-managed superannuation funds, wealth protection, estate and succession planning, as well as investment portfolio construction and ongoing investment management where he specialises in helping clients access institutional-grade private market opportunities spanning areas like private equity, venture capital, unlisted infrastructure, and private credit.

He works with both established and emerging high net worth investors to deliver organisation, structure, and financial clarity. This allows his clients to focus more of their time on the things that are uniquely important to them whilst ensuring they remain on track to achieving their personal goals and financial ambitions.

Joel holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in Finance and Financial Planning, is an ASX Accredited Listed Products Adviser, as well as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP^®), which is internationally regarded for having the highest education and ethical standards in financial advice. He was also recently named on the ‘INFIN 40 Under 40’ list, acknowledging wealth management professionals shaping the future of the financial advice industry.

Outside of the office you’ll find Joel on the golf course, at the beach, in the gym, or getting lost in nature and travelling with his wife, Fatima.
