‘Europe is finally reawakening’: Annabel Lockyer on EU markets during US tariffs

Asteri Asset Management Chief Economist Annabel Lockyer claims Europe is “finally reawakening” from “fiscal rectitude to fiscal expansion”.
She also commented on European markets in comparison to the US economy, claiming Europe “works well in a crisis,” irrespective of Trumpian economic policy.
“Europe looks like it’s actually starting to strengthen … you got to look at the interconnectedness; you can’t just look at the US by itself,” she told Sky News Australia.
“The more difficult the US gets growth-wise, and markets come under pressure company-wise, the likes of Europe actually come together.”
