Volatility in listed equities has led the wealth manager to different sources of returns.
Already heavily defensively positioned, Asteri Asset Management has been adding more defensive exposures to income diversifiers over the past six to 18 months as volatility continues to rock equities.
Jonathan Harper, managing partner at Asteri, said the $10bn wealth manager had been adding to agricultural investments, litigation finance, and insurance-linked securities for more stable sources of risk and return that were uncorrelated to equity market movements.
